Holter

HOLTER Monitoring is a 24-hour heart monitoring test used to detect irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias) that may not appear during a standard ECG.

Holter

At ARAVIND HEART CARE, we provide HOLTER monitoring to continuously record your heart’s activity, helping diagnose conditions like atrial fibrillation, palpitations, and other arrhythmias.

Who Needs HOLTER Monitoring?

HOLTER is recommended for individuals with intermittent symptoms of dizziness, fainting, or palpitations that are not captured during a regular ECG. It is also used for monitoring patients with known arrhythmias and for those on medications to manage heart rhythm.

Service Include

The HOLTER monitor is a small, portable device that is attached to your chest with electrodes. It records your heart’s electrical activity for 24-48 hours while you go about your normal daily activities. The data is then analyzed by Dr. C.S. Aravind to identify any abnormal heart rhythms.
